Why did you start your blog?
Mexico is an enormous, gorgeous country filled with world class cuisine, ancient archeological sites, pristine beaches, award-winning architecture, resorts, adventure, nature and most of all amazing and warm people and children. I started my blog because I was tired of seeing and reading so much negative news about Mexico and I wanted to create a site to showcase all the good happening, and to provide an outlet where people could go to reference positive news and inspirational features about or related to Mexico.
What do you write about in your blog?
I write about many topics relating to Mexico including destinations, activities, leisure, living, environment, hotels/resorts, community, culture, cuisine, events, people, entrepreneurs, non profits, volunteering, heroes, history, education, book reviews, art, music, entertainment, moving to Mexico, celebrity testimonials about Mexico and more. I write about all areas of Mexico, but in particular the places I have traveled to for the last 20 years. I write about personal experiences and interview people I know who are doing amazing things in Mexico. There are hundreds of non profits in Mexico, with extraordinary people connected to them, doing amazing things for the community that nobody knows about, so I write about them. I write articles about the good news in Mexico and my goal is simple, to be the positive voice for Mexico.
Advice
- The advice I have for people who are considering traveling to Mexico is to consider all of the options. Mexico is an easy choice for beach and sun but offers a world of opportunity for adventure whether you are single, newlyweds or a family. My blog also reviews books on moving to Mexico and offers practical advice for travel to or living in Mexico.
