If you are taking a week's long vacation in Mexico, there's no need to feel you have to choose between the enriching experience of visiting a historical city and relaxing on the beach. There's just enough time to experience a range of what the country has to offer. You can spend half of your time in one of Mexico's charming colonial towns, then take a few days on the coast. This will allow you to experience some of Mexico's history and culture as well as enjoy some relaxing time at the beach, to ensure that you return home refreshed and energized.
