About Mexicana:
Mexicana, officially Compañía Mexicana de Aviación, is based in Mexico City and is Mexico's second largest airline, after Aeromexico. In operation since 1924, Mexicana is the fourth oldest airline in the world.
Mexicana's Domestic Destinations:
Mexicana currently serves 19 destinations in Mexico: Acapulco, Cancun, Mexico City, Culiacan, El Bajio/Leon, Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Mazatlan, Merida, Mexicali, Minatitlán / Coatzacoalcos, Monterrey, Morelia, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, Tampico, Tijuana, Veracruz and Zacatecas.
Mexicana's International Destinations:
Mexicana's International destinations include Bakersfield, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Fresno, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Oakland, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Francisco and San Jose in the United States, and Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary in Canada, as well as destinations in Central and South America.
Alliances:
Previously a member of Star Alliance (2000-2004) now Mexicana has alliances with American Airlines, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa and Qantas, among others.
