Hotel Hacienda Los Laureles is a boutique hotel on the outskirts of Oaxaca city. The main construction dates to the early 1900s, and originally functioned as a plantation for coffee and corn. This cart stacked high with clay pots near the entrance to the hotel alludes to the property's former use.
The hotel opened its doors in September 2000, and was one of the original members of the Mexico Boutique Hotels association. The hotel has been awarded a four diamond rating by AAA.
