Celebrate Mexican Independence Day

Step 1: Time for shopping!

On September 15th, preparations are underway for the grito de la independencia, the "call for independence" that takes place at 11 pm, and streets are filled with vendors selling all types of patriotic gear (among other things). This is the time to purchase whatever is needed for the fiesta to come: hats, flags, confetti, foam spray, etc, as well as to enjoy some tasty street food.
