Nice! thanks for mentioning plaza de las tres cultura, I think that is a very overlooked site. Check out the film Rojo Amanecer about the 1968 massacre there.
There are free lectures on Mexican history and topics of interest at the Museo de la Bola, in Tacubaya.
Also Plaza de la Conchita in Coyoacan is a great spot to hang out and enjoy the neighborhood, for free!
