This inaptly-named event (17 days is not a week!) is now in its fifth year, and 36 restaurants will be participating, offering diners fixed price three-course menus (with 3 options each) for either 179 or 299 pesos per person (not including beverages or tips). Great post Suzanna ! I am originally from Germany now living here in Vallarta and I visit the Restaurant week each year. As we have in Germany similar events I am able to compare very well the quality of the served menus. And in the result I only can confirm, that the PV Restaurant Week is a very special event. It makes sence, to visit Vallarta during these 2 weeks each year and test all the participating restaurants.
There should be an international restaurant week competition, I am sure Vallarta would make it into the top ten worldwide.
