Have we ever had the chance to use their services?
Yeah.
Even though we live in Norway

These cars are cute and their fares are very low and they know the city better than any wone else, but … Almost everyone that has lives or spends time in Mexico City agrees that there is a higher chance of a (crime) problem in a bug thatn if you take a car from a taxi sitio. They are more expensive but still cheaper than the taxis at the big hotels. I also recommend that you consider hiring a driver. It is not cheap but it is actually not a bad deal. I used the guy from MexicoCarService.com but there are many around. BTW, Mexico has a large VW plant in Puebla. Also, if you play “Slugbug” make sure to call no passbacks.
