The Guelaguetza Festival is taking place this week in Oaxaca. The pineapple dance is one of the many folk dances performed during the Guelaguetza.

July 23, 2008 at 11:51 am (6) gomexico says:: Phylameana, this dance if for women only. Most of the dances are for couples, but there’s also one that’s for men only, called the feather dance. The men wear huge feather headdresses for that one.
