The Copper Canyon

Thursday May 22, 2008
The Barrancas del Cobre, or Copper Canyon, in the state of Chihuahua, is much larger than Arizona's Grand Canyon, and offers a multitude of possibilities for adventure travelers and those interested in nature. Anyone can enjoy the canyon by traveling on the Chihuahua al Pacifico Railway, but the more adventurous will want to get off the train, stay in one of the villages along the route, and take a few days to explore the canyon and the wonders it holds.
