Storm Watch: Tropical Storm Henriette and Hurricane Felix

Monday September 3, 2007
Tropical Storm Henriette has been traveling up Mexico's Pacific coast causing heavy rains and winds. Landslides due to the storm have caused six deaths near Acapulco. Hurricane warnings have been called off for Mexico's mainland, but according to forecasts, Henriette may strengthen into a hurricane before passing near Los Cabos, Baja California on Tuesday.

In the Atlantic, Hurricane Felix has strengthened into a powerful category 5 hurricane and will likely hit Honduras on Tuesday and Belize on Wednesday and may then continue on into southeastern Mexico.

Check the National Hurricane Center for updates.
